LIVING THE AMERICAN JEWISH EXPERIENCE

Living the American Jewish Experience is an annual lecture and year-round programs that explore American Jewish identity within its historical context and the contemporary challenges of being Jewish in America.

The initiative brings leading contemporary thinkers to Austin to share provocative perspectives that encourage critical thinking about the fundamental assumptions, questions, and issues facing the American Jewish community—as well as individual Jews and families—today.

AUSTIN JEWISH HISTORY JEOPARDY

How To Play

  1. Choose a category and a tile on the game board with a point value
  2. Click the slide once, revealing an "answer"
  3. Without clicking again, try to guess the answer and make it a question in the spirit of Jeopardy
  4. Then click once over the "answer." The true answer in the form of a question is revealed.
  5. If you got it right, you earned the points. If you got it wrong, no points are awarded.
  6. Play with opponents and take turns, or play on your own.
  7. After each correct "question" is showing, find the home icon and click once to return to the main board
  8. Ignore the Google Slides gray bar at the bottom of the game. If you advance the slides with the arrows, it will defeat the game’s logic and slide relationships.
  9. This game naturally looks better on a desktop or tablet, not a mobile device.
